Who we are
Somos Comunidad -previously known as Comunidad Camurí Grande, Civil Association- is a nonprofit Non-Governmental Organization, that was created with the purpose of contributing with the welfare and empowerment of the community of Camurí Grande, who in December of 1999 were victims of the Vargas State mudslide tragedy. Today its action has expanded to other neighborhood communities within the Naiguatá Parish.
What we do
The main project of the organization is the Community Center, a space where peaceful coexistence, shared responsibility and inclusion is promoted, and equal opportunities through quality services are provided.
The institution, located in the town of Camurí Grande, within the Naiguatá Parish in Vargas State, focuses on five areas: health, education, trainings and entrepreneurship, music and community development.
